Shout Out! has metamorphosized throughout the years to fit the needs of its participants.
It has functioned as:
- an social issues group where we role played topics of interest to get a better handle on them.
- an acting group where we played improv games (such as the ones you see in the TV show, "Whose Line is it Anyway?")
- an outlet for self expression in which we did writing activities and artistic projects
- a social group where unique kids who could fit in.
- a Gay Straight Alliance where people could be themselves and be safe.
Currently, I am running one group. We are still accepting new members, and I will form additional groups as there are enough interested kids.
All you have to do to join is contact me and ask for a free consultation (email me at Jen@JenWhitlock.com or call 973-222-3750). I'll meet with you, and we'll decide together whether you're a good match for the ongoing group. If not, I can put you on a waiting list until there are enough like-minded souls to form a new group.
Suggested donation to True Colors Center for Creative Therapy is $10 to $30 per session, depending on your ability to pay and desire to keep groups going. This is a special time-limited rate to attract new members.
Don't pay attention to the times on the brochure below. I provide this information for flavor, and the details are negotiable.
